'This work invites you into my world to meet a series of its strange inhabitants clearly on the way to the same party…more or less human, each one in some way connected to the struggle to resist both an imposed single identity (‘disabled’) or the disorientating sense of fractured self her situation of 24/7 care engendered. The larger than life figures carry a power for anyone feeling reduced or ignored, they are a demand for attention denied.'
